DEAR FRIENDS

With Deep Regret,

we announce the passing of Korra L. Deaver, Ph.D.

Korra, our "third Leo" departed this life with her characteristic joy and optimism, firm in her belief that death is the opening of a door between one world and the next.

We retain the name of 'three leos' as a sign of our own belief that korra is still with us and will be with us forever.

Welcome to the World
of
Three Leos

From our home on the edge of the Oregon wilderness, we normally conduct a number of business and artistic endeavours. Here we present the primary three. Please be advised, however, that Three Leos Publishing and Psalt of the Earth are on indefinite hiatus, owing to illness within our nuclear and extended family. How long this all this will take to resolve itself  is way above our collective paygrade, but we press on.

As part of that effort, we are in the process of bringing Lydia's World back into being. Nothing for sale immediately, but the pages and galleries are being resthttp://www.lydias-world.com/index.htmlored and updated even as we "speak".

Three Leos Publishing

We are a deliberately small publishing house, dedicated to making the world a more interesting place, one book at a time.

This aspect of our life, along with the others, is currently on hiatus. We are using this unavoidable downtime to do rewrites on the majority of our books. Once we are back on an even keel, we will be offering a limited list of titles.

Lydia's World of Dolls, Dragons, and Diverse Delights

Lydia has completed chemotherapy, with excellent results, but is still getting her strength back. On the other hand, she has been quietly going through her fabric stash, so prospects are good.

As before, the product line for this aspect will concentrate on Lydia's unique designs across an impressive variety of genres. Listing it all here would just obscure the rest of the page, so we're just using hyperlinks leading to the "lydias-world.com" page.

Psalt of the Earth

In normal times, we produce psalteries of various description, to include: Plankharps, Spirit Harps, Trapezoidal Psalteries, and a winged Psaltery that looks and functions much like a Kantele.

Lyres of various designs, and anything else that comes to mind (often as a one-off item) in that nature.

We also make Glastonbury Drums (think Cajon Drum meets bodhran, and/or variants of both), as well as Clappersticks, Box Shakers, and are planning (I know, we never learn) starting a line in board games -- obscure and otherwise. These, however, are not normal times, so we are working through the various processes.

But we travel in hope, so.......

We are planning (there's that word again) to have most Psalt of the Earth products available by the final months of 2009. If everything goes well, we may even have a few items available in late Spring or early Summer.

Again, we are out of pocket until some time in late 2009 or early 2010. We apologize for this, and we look forward to reopening the site(s), as well as being back on the art/craft show and Renn Faire circuits shortly thereafter.

[People who make money knowing about these things assure me I need to repeat this blindingly obvious datum. Personally, I think it's assuming you can't read very well, but who am I, a poor humble boy from the sticks, to disagree?]
